Privacy Policy

Last updated October 21, 2026

This policy explains what information danielllewelyn.com, the author website of Daniel Llewelyn, collects and how it is used.

What we collect

Newsletter. When you join the newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you choose to share it, your first name.

Contact form. When you send a message, we collect your name, email address and whatever you write, so Daniel can reply. Messages are delivered to Daniel’s personal email inbox.

Form records. Both forms also record the IP address the form was sent from, to help block spam. Form records are deleted from this website after one year.

Security logs. Like most websites, our host records basic technical information such as IP addresses and browser type. Our security software also records failed login attempts to block attacks on the site.

How we use it

We use your email address to send the newsletter you signed up for, and to answer messages you send us. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

Who helps us run the site

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Newsletter signups are kept on this website and in SentientMail, the email provider that sends the newsletter. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to download them. Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only when an administrator logs in.

Your choices

Every newsletter email includes a link to unsubscribe. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, use the contact form.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
